In 2002, while on her way to visit friends in Rome, Yael Elyashiv, the film's director, met a group of Israeli 'Rainbow people' who told her about the annual European Rainbow Gathering to be held in the hills of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy. Out of curiosity and following a fascinating conversation about the essence of Rainbow, Yael decided to change her plans and travel to the mountains of northern Italy. Her experience at the Gathering was overwhelming, and she stayed there for three weeks. Now, after six years' knowing the Rainbow family, Yael presents a film about the Rainbow community in Israel. Who are the Rainbow people? What is their message? How do the Rainbow Gatherings affect their daily lives? The film answers these questions while delving into the stories of several central figures in the Israeli Rainbow community
