 Fools' Paradise (lost?)

How do we heal ourselves through reconnection to the natural world? How do we heal what is left of the wild – our own inner wild and the outer wild? Immersed in experiences recounted by writers, filmmakers, artists, environmentalists, adventurers, therapists, and political activists, we delve into scientific inquiry around topics such as personal action, sustainable business and life practices, nature therapies and how we need and use nature to regenerate ourselves. Alongside this exploration, we address the reality that we must heal what is left of our planet. Fools' Paradise (lost?) is a love letter to our wild. In a time when climate change and environmental degradation pose dire consequences for both humanity and the planet, we hope that by revealing pathways for healing through our reconnection to the natural world, we will learn to care for it – and if the earth benefits, we will all benefit. What can different cultures and histories offer us as lessons for our future? What are some of our most prominent thinkers and creators doing to make change within themselves and beyond? How can we tap into those lessons and experiences both as individuals and communities? What came before, what is happening now, and what can be done in the future? Song of the Sirens | New Moon 4

"Be beautiful and be silent..." – a command that has permeated generations of women, and now it is time to respond to it with a voice. Between ancient myths, folk tales and biblical stories, alongside testimonies from modern-day women – "Song of the Sirens" unravels the threads of silence that have been woven around women since the dawn of history. This is a film that delves into the DNA of patriarchal culture, and reveals how the female voice is suppressed – not only from the outside, but also from within. Faced with a belligerent and conflict-ridden Israeli reality, the film insists on making another voice heard – feminine, emotional, political, and one that breaks boundaries. "Song of the Sirens" is not just a film – it is a call to consciousness and action, a poem that comes to awaken what is silent, heal what is wounded, and challenge what is taken for granted. Bees For Peace

Bees for Peace – Women of Honey” is an intimate documentary that follows Yossi Aud, whose healing journey from cancer led to an unexpected calling: protecting bees and inspiring a cross-cultural movement. In rural corners of Israel, women from Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Druze, and Bedouin communities come together to learn biodynamic beekeeping. Their training not only helps preserve fragile bee populations but also empowers them with practical skills and economic independence. What begins as instruction in the art of caring for bees unfolds into something deeper: friendships that cross historic boundaries of faith, culture, and conflict. Through their shared work, the women embody resilience, cooperation, and hope. Hive by hive, the film captures a quiet transformation—showing how a simple idea sparked by one man’s encounter with bees can grow into a vision of ecological renewal and grassroots peace, where cooperation thrives in the most unlikely places.

#FEMALE PLEASURE

Barbara Miller’s documentary #FEMALEPLEASURE follows five bold and self-determined women from different cultures and religions—Deborah Feldman, Leyla Hussein, Rokudenashiko, Doris Wagner, and Vithika Yadav—who challenge patriarchal traditions that suppress female sexuality and autonomy. With remarkable courage, they break taboos, fight for sexual liberation, and demand respect for women’s bodies beyond religious and cultural barriers. Their resistance, however, comes at a cost: social exclusion, threats, prosecutions, and even death threats from fanatics and religious leaders. Spanning continents—from Japan and India to Somalia, Brooklyn, and Europe—the film exposes universal mechanisms that continue to define women’s roles and deny their right to pleasure. These five voices show how courage and vitality can spark change, offering hope for a more equal and liberated future

Dalai Lama Poster.jpg
The Dalai Lama's Gift

This documentary uncovers a powerful chapter of spiritual history, hidden for over 40 years. In 1981, a historic event in the heart of Wisconsin became a transformative moment in American spirituality: His Holiness the Dalai Lama initiated over a thousand young Americans into the ancient Kalachakra Tantra, the Wheel of Time, at Deer Park Monastery. Now, for the first time, never-before-seen footage reveals the vibrant journeys of these spiritual adventurers as they traveled to India and back to America to build a new Buddhist community in the Midwest. This documentary immerses viewers in the energy of a generation drawn to Tibetan Buddhism's mysteries and wisdom. With intimate interviews capturing the Dalai Lama’s humor, compassion, and vision, we witness his efforts to preserve Tibetan culture and his devotion to peace—a dedication that would later earn him the Nobel Prize. Alongside stories from the young Americans who organized and transformed their town’s skepticism into enthusiasm, we see the fierce determination to create something lasting. They faced financial struggles and local opposition, built a temple in record time, and left with a profound sense of purpose that still shapes their lives today.
